Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Alpha Invoice (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of Alpha Invoice, worldwide.

The App is Free

Alpha Invoice is provided free of charge to all users. There are no subscription fees, in-app purchases, or premium tiers. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in future versions, but any currently free features will remain free.

Who We Are

Alpha Invoice is developed and maintained by Black Box Private Limited(PV124876), a technology company based in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka. You can contact us at hi@blackboxsl.com.

Your Data & iCloud

All data you create within the App — including businesses, clients, invoices, products, and services — is stored exclusively in your personal Apple iCloud account via Apple's SwiftData framework.

Black Box Private Limited has no access to your data. You are responsible for maintaining your iCloud account and ensuring adequate storage. If you delete the App or your iCloud data, your information may be permanently lost. We cannot recover deleted data.

Permitted Use

You may use Alpha Invoice for lawful personal and business purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App
  • Use the App to generate fraudulent, misleading, or falsified invoices
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction

Financial Accuracy Disclaimer

Alpha Invoice is a productivity tool designed to help you create and manage invoices. It is not a substitute for professional accounting or financial advice. Tax calculations (GST and other taxes) are provided as a convenience only. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all financial figures, tax rates, and invoice totals before sending or relying on them.

We strongly recommend consulting a qualified accountant or tax professional for your specific jurisdiction's requirements.

Intellectual Property

Alpha Invoice and all related intellectual property — including the app name, logo, design, and underlying code — are owned by Black Box Private Limited. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on your Apple devices, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Alpha Invoice is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your particular purpose. Use of the App is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Black Box Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
